    Howling from the border plains of Albury / Wodonga, LOWLINE bring you a harvest of pure Australian Indie Rock and Roll.

    Bound in brotherhood by blood and law and mateship, LOWLINE have cut their teeth, forming their sound over the years under the moniker “The Quick and the Dead” and between various other projects.
    Delivering a brand new collection of songs LOWLINE covers new ground with a raw and momentous rock forward sound, also displaying glimpses of indie, alternative and folk influences with a dirty blues undertone. Sharing likeness with bands like JET, The Raconteurs and Cage The Elephant. LOWLINE balance dirty guitars, thumping drums with moments of delicate melodies and keys.

    Cielle Montgomery and James Church are ‘Montgomery Church’

    - a blend of acoustic folk, Americana and bluegrass influences, grown and distilled in the Snowy Mountain ranges of
    country New South Wales. With their organic union of dobro and guitar, harmony vocals,
    and thoughtful songwriting, this captivating duo are enthralling in their dynamic intimacy
    and embrace all that is subtle, spacious, and sensitive. Since their formation in 2016,
    Montgomery Church have been quietly but quickly gathering a fan base who site their
    undeniable chemistry as a rare and beautiful thing to see live.

    Special Guest: Indigo Hue

    Performing both shows, we are excited to bring you Singer-songwriter Indigo Hue (fka Gracecyn) makes self-proclaimed “groovy-sad songs” that get you in your feels AND on the dance floor. The multi-instrumentalist delivers indie rock with the sounds of pop, blues and a sprinkle of jazz. Indigo writes from a place of vulnerability, drawing on her experiences of heartbreak, growing up, independence and self respect.   
    As a member of the band Glass Elevator, Indigo supported Approachable Members of Your Local Community on their 2020 Australian tour. Under her former alias Gracecyn, her latest single ‘Matters’ captures the youth experience over grungy guitars and an infectiously catchy melody.  Growing up in Melbourne with a musical family has been a source of inspiration for Indigo, and she often works with her brothers Jarith Hughes and Brannon Hughes who are also a musicians. Now living in the Snowy Valley Region, New South Wales, she is currently working out of her home studio creating her debut EP.

    As of 1 June, we are delighted to open our doors again to you all.  We have fireside seating, sunny winter deck and gazebos and for weekend extra seating, our repurposed cinema space for dining.

    There are rules of course to keep us all safe. Social distancing and restricted numbers for dining with strict cleaning routines are of course part of cafe life now.  We can seat 14 inside the cafe, 5 on the deck, 5 in each gazebo and 20 in the cinema when available.  Parties of 10 or less is another NSW rule we need to comply with.

    To ensure you get to enjoy your favourite cake, coffee, chat, pizza or beer, we really encourage you to book ahead by calling us.  Takeaway is also an option and we appreciate a call ahead to minimise waiting times.  69482950.  Or, pop in order take a stroll through our glorious streets and come by again when its ready to go.   Tumbarumba has plenty of prime picnic spots if you want to enjoy the great outdoors.

    Our cinema is closed until further notice however we still have giftware, local produce, pantry items, books, stationery and art so, we are almost back to 'normal'.
