Showcasing local nuts, black truffles, wines and the fabulous folk who grow it.

Mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and fireside food under the stars. Meet local growers and chat with River Cottage Paul West in a casual outdoorsy, fire smoky setting. All welcome!

Departure on small tour bus from Nest with coffee & fresh baked muffin to the Trufflerie and Chestnut Farm.
Meet Truffle growers, the hunting dogs, their hunter and be part of the search for the exotic Perigord truffle.
You'll be able to smell, touch and taste as part of the tour and enjoy a fireside fresh Truffle Brunch cooked by chef Paul West. A tour of the chestnut farm and production is included in the morning.
(Whilst it is anticipated there will be truffles found, there is no guarantee. There will be fresh truffle however for tasting & brunch)
Experience a four course lavish banquet featuring chestnuts, hazelnuts, truffle and local produce prepared by Nest in cohorts with guest chef Paul West.
Share from the abundance of food served on platters as you are seated communal style at long tables. Chat with locals, growers, travellers and Paul over the warming winter feast.
Wine tastings will be part of the evening by Tumbarumba vignerons and winemakers as they showcase the best of our award winning region wines and recommend food wine matches.

Discover the winter wonders of this high country hazelnut orchard. Craig & Bindi of Happy Wombat Hazelnuts will take you on an exclusive farm tour of their pioneering and picturesque orchard, otherwise unavailable to the public.
Afternoon tea featuring produce from the orchard is included
While in our neck of the woods we encourage you to discover more about this wonderful part of the world we dwell like the - waterfalls, forests, mountain bike tracks, wineries or even just hanging out at Nest.
